Police said a few years back Abbas's son had eloped with a girl from the neighbouring household.     The couple, Abbas and his wife Kamrul Nisha, died on the spot in the attack on Friday Sitapur:  In Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh, neighbors beat a man and his wife to death with iron rods and sticks. Police claim the murder was allegedly caused by a liaison between the victim's son and the daughter of one of the accused, and three persons have been detained in connection with the case. In the incident on Friday, the couple—Abbas and his wife Kamrul Nisha—died instantly, and all the suspects ran away. Chakresh Mishra, the superintendent of police in Sitapur, claimed that a girl from a neighboring family had eloped with Abbas's son a few years prior.
