Jr NTR feels 'honoured' after team RRR gets invited to join the Academy, call it a 'proud moment'

Jr. NTR describes it as a "proud moment" and says he is "honoured" that Team RRR was selected to join the Academy.

Jr. NTR has received an invitation to join The Academy. He congratulated the five Team RRR members who had also been invited.

Four other RRR team members and superstars Ram Charan and Jr. NTR have also been asked to join The Academy. The updated list of directors, actors, and technicians who have been asked to join was released on June 29. The list of the 398 members also includes the musician and Oscar winner MM Keeravaani, casting director KK Senthil Kumar, music director Chandrabose, and RRR's art director Sabu Cyril. It should be noticed, nevertheless, that SS Rajamouli's name is not on the list. Jr. NTR then praised the squad for winning the "well-deserved honour."

Jr NTR's congratulates team

Jr. NTR has expressed satisfaction at receiving an invitation from the Oscars to join The Academy. "The fact that Ram Charan, MM Keeravaani, Senthil Kumar, ChandraBose, Sabu Cyril, and I have been invited as members of The Academy Awards 2024 is such a wonderful occasion for all of us in the #RRR family. I send my sincere congratulations to each and every one of them for receiving this accolade. I appreciate The Academy giving us this recognition. In a statement, Jr. NTR stated, "I also extend my congratulations to my colleagues in the Indian cinema community who have also been extended invites by the Academy.

SS Rajamouli's statement

After learning about the list, 'RRR' director SS Rajamouli took to Instagram and wrote, "Extremely proud that 6 members of our RRR team have been invited as members for The Academy Awards this year. Congratulations Tarak, Charan, Peddanna, Sabu sir, Senthil and Chandrabose garu. Also, congrats to the members from Indian Cinema who received the invitation this year," Rajamouli tweeted.

The year 2023 has been fantastic for the "RRR" crew because the movie's song "Naatu Naatu" made history at the 2023 Oscars by winning Best Original Song. The song won accolades internationally before winning the Oscar. 'Naatu Naatu' received the Golden Globe for 'Best Original Song' in January. At the 28th annual Critics' Choice Awards, 'RRR' won two additional prizes five days later. The best song and best foreign film categories each have one entry each.
