Owaisi On PM Modi's Triple Talaq Remark: "Why getting Inspiration From Pak law"

According to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the triple talaq has been outlawed in nations like Pakistan, Qatar, and even Egypt.

AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi

Asaduddin Owaisi, the leader of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen, criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday for his comments regarding the triple talaq, the Uniform Civil Code, and Pasmanda Muslims in Madhya Pradesh.

While the Prime Minister was on a state visit to the US, the Hyderabad MP brought up a comment made by former US President Barack Obama on Indian Muslims. "@narendramodi made some remarks on Pasmanda Muslims, the UCC, and Triple Talaq. It appears like Modiji misunderstood Obama's counsel. Should "Hindu Undivided Family" be ended by the PM? According to Owaisi's tweet, the country loses 3064 crores annually as a result of HUF.

Obama stated in a CNN interview that if the rights of religious and racial minorities are not maintained, India may break apart. The former US president advised Modi and Biden to bring up the subject during their meetings.

In contrast, his puppets are assaulting their mosques, robbing them of their means of subsistence, demolishing their homes, and lynching them, Owaisi claimed, accusing the PM of "shedding crocodile tears" for Pasmanda Muslims. Additionally, they are opposed to Muslim-backwards reservations. His administration has ceased providing underprivileged Muslims with scholarships.

What is Modi doing about it if Pasmanda Muslims are being exploited? Before asking Pasmanda Muslims for votes, BJP workers should knock on doors and apologise for their MLAs and spokespersons' reported attempts to disrespect our Dear Prophet. He was alluding to an alleged insult made by now-suspended BJP politician Nupur Sharma.

"Modi ji said that triple talaq is forbidden, citing Pakistan. Why is Pakistani legislation the source of Modi ji's inspiration? Even though he passed a legislation here prohibiting triple talaq, it had no practical effect. Instead, the exploitation of women has become much more. We have consistently argued that legislation alone cannot bring about social change. In response to Prime Minister Modi's comments made today in the close-to-election state of Madhya Pradesh, he said, "If a law has to be enacted, it should be made against those guys who leave from their marriages.

In his remarks to the public, Prime Minister Modi noted that nations like Pakistan, Qatar, and even Egypt no longer practise Triple Talaq. He continued by saying that triple talaq not only harms girls but also destroys entire families.

Modi added that the Uniform Civil Code had apparently been requested by the Supreme Court. "Will the house be able to function if there is one law for one member and another for the other? How will the nation function under such a dual system, then?
