Rahul Gandhi, the head of the Congress, charged on Thursday that the federal government was ignoring the ongoing violence in Manipur, which has killed more than 150 lives.

On July 29 and 30, MPs from the opposition alliance INDIA are slated to visit Manipur to investigate the situation in the northeastern state, which has been beset by ethnic violence since May 3.

The demand for a discussion on the Manipur crisis has caused a deadlock in the Monsoon session of Parliament. The Prime Minister's comment on the matter has been demanded by the Opposition, but the government has reiterated that it is prepared for a debate on the House floor.

The Congress leader also charged BJP-RSS with splitting India in a video message. "You have a strong sense of patriotism. Your heart is likewise hurt when the nation suffers or when one of its citizens is injured.

You experience sadness. However, BJP-RSS supporters are not suffering since they are splitting India, he was overheard stating.

"On one side, that you're seated and you affection your country, but anytime the nation or its people suffer, you will also suffer and feel depressed. However, they are devoid of any such sentiment.

The RSS-BJP members are pain-free. Therefore they target to divide the nation, he explained to those who are part of the Indian Youth Congress.
