Scores Well On Depravity: Smriti Irani Counters Congress' Failed Report Card Jibe At BJP Over Manipur
There are depths of depravity very few are capable of — keeping a score card re women. There are instances of wilful ignorance very few incessantly exhibit. On both counts - depravity and wilful ignorance- CONgress scores well. Discuss in Parliament if the dynasty permits. https://t.co/5vpEPZXX11

Irani previously claimed that Congress is deaf to the mistreatment of women in Mamata Banerjee's West Bengal and silent in Rajasthan.
Mahua Moitra, the leader of the Trinamool Congress (TMC), responded to Irani's tweet and urged the minister of women's and children's affairs to get a dictionary so she could learn what "depravity" meant.
Sorry, Minister WCD. It's not depravity, though. Depravity is the BJP's attempt to distract the Manipur issue with a full-scale fake news offensive in other states. when our sisters are dying and PM, HM, and WCD remain silent. When your chair can't shield our wrestlers, that is depravity. Purchase a dictionary. If MaunGuru permits," tweeted the TMC leader.
Sorry WCD Minister. This isn’t Depravity. Depravity is BJP deflecting Manipur issue with all out fake news assault in other states. When PM, HM & WCD keep mum while our sisters die. Depravity is when your chair can’t protect our wrestlers.

In response to the Manipur video's widespread anger, the BJP leaders are referencing instances of atrocities against women in other states, including as West Bengal and Rajasthan, while the Congress has accused the BJP of being responsible for the atrocity.
Two Kuki community women were paraded naked and sexually assaulted in front of a mob in a video that quickly became popular on social media. This incident aroused global indignation and raised significant concerns about the current state of affairs in the conflict-torn Manipur.
