"Bete Ko Set Karna Hai Aur Daamad Ko...": BJP Leader Targets Sonia Gandhi

While most leaders from the BJP had attributed the No-Confidence Motion to Congress's compulsions connected to the alliance, party MP Nishikant Dubey gave it an unexpected spin.

New Delhi: During today's debate in parliament on the No-Confidence Motion against the Narendra Modi government, the BJP's response to the Congress got near and personal at one point. Most BJP officials had linked the No-Confidence Motion to the alliance-related pressures on Congress, but party MP Nishikant Dubey gave it an unexpected twist.

I greatly respect Sonia Ji, Mr. Dubey declared. She lives the life of a Hindu woman and carries out all of the duties. At this point, she is just concerned about two things: "She wants to establish her son and give gifts to her son-in-law."

He claimed that this is the basis for the no-confidence move against the government.

Mrs. Gandhi was spotted joining in the laughter as it erupted throughout the home. The chair itself was seen grinning.

Today's debate was scheduled to be introduced by Mr. Gandhi, who returned to the House of Representatives yesterday after receiving a respite from the Supreme Court. He would, however, speak on Thursday, the same day as Prime Minister Narendra Modi, according to sources.

His stillness did not last long before he spoke.Rahul Gandhi may not have been prepared today or may have slept in late. The debate's moderator, Gaurav Gogoi, talked well, according to Mr. Dubey.

Pralhad Joshi, the minister for parliamentary affairs, questioned the decision to abruptly withdraw Rahul Gandhi from consideration as the lead speaker.

Additionally, Mr. Dubey poked fun at Mr. Gandhi for his comments on V.D. Savarkar and made reference to the Supreme Court's decision to put a hold on his conviction in the defamation case.

"The Supreme Court hasn't rendered a decision. It issued a stay of execution...He's stating he won't apologize... Second, he asserts, "I am not Savarkar"; Mr. Dubey remarked, "You can never be Veer Savakar.

Despite not having enough support, the Opposition introduced the No-Confidence Motion and now acknowledged that it was done so in order to force the Prime Minister to address Manipur, which was one of their top requests during the monsoon session.

Congressman Gaurav Gogoi began the discussion by stating that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's "vow of silence" on Manipur had been broken by the opposition INDIA, which was obliged to introduce the no-confidence resolution against the administration.

He claimed that a government that preaches about "one India" had actually produced "two Manipurs"—one that lived in the valley and the other in the hills.
