Users' social media profiles now have the option to conceal the Blue tick received through a paid subscription on Elon Musk's X, the renamed name of the social media site formerly known as Twitter.

Users who have subscribed to Twitter Blue can now conceal their Blue checkmark on the web, iOS, and Android versions of X, based on screenshots that X News Daily posted. Users can also conceal their list of subscriptions on the web version. But as of right now, it's unclear which Blue features will be turned off when the Blue checkmark is hidden.

How to turn off the Blue tick from X (Twitter) account?

Take the following actions to remove the Twitter X-blue tick from your account:

Access the 'About' part of your X account.

2. Search for the "Hide Your Checkmark" option for X Blue.

To continue, select the "Hide Your Checkmark" option.

4. If you choose this option, your posts and profile will no longer have the blue tick.

It's crucial to remember that, even if your Blue tick is hidden, the checkmark may still be visible in various places and services to show that you have an active membership. Additionally, while the Blue tick is concealed, some functionality might not be available.
