Husband Arrested For BJP Leader Sana Khan's Murder. Cops Look For Body

Amit Sahu confessed to the crime and was arrested along with one other person from Ghora Bazar area of Jabalpur by a team of Nagpur Police.

Sana Khan's body has not been recovered yet, the police said.

Nagpur: Sana Khan, a BJP activist from Nagpur, has been missing for ten days. Her husband, Amit Sahu, was apprehended on Friday for her murder in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, according to police.

A team from the Nagpur Police detained Amit Sahu and another individual from the Ghora Bazar neighborhood of Jabalpur after they both admitted to the crime.

Sahu allegedly dropped Ms. Khan's body into a river, according to the police. However, the victim's body has not yet been located, according to the police.

Sana Khan, a native of Nagpur and a member of the BJP minority cell, vanished after visiting Jabalpur. Her family claims that on August 1, Ms. Khan was last seen in Jabalpur, where she had traveled to meet Sahu.

Ms. Khan took a private bus out of Nagpur, and when she arrived in the city the following day, she called her mother. She then vanished, though, shortly after.

The two suspects were detained by the Nagpur police team, who has since left for Maharashtra and will present them in a local court today.
