'If Priyanka Gandhi contests from Varanasi...': Reactions to Robert Vadra's hint

Sanjay Raut said he thinks Varanasi people want Priyanka Gandhi and if she contests against PM Modi, she would win.


In 2019, it was speculated that Priyanka Gandhi would contest from Varanasi but the party finally fielded Ajay Rai.


Several lawmakers responded to the rumors that the Gandhi scion would make her parliamentary debut in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections as Robert Vadra stated on Sunday that Priyanka Gandhi would be very excellent in Parliament. Sanjay Raut, the head of the Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray), asserted that Priyanka Gandhi would undoubtedly triumph if she ran against PM Modi from Varanasi.

"The people of Varanasi favor Priyanka Gandhi.For the BJP, the battles for Rae Bareli, Varanasi, and Amethi are challenging.People ought to support Rahul Gandhi.According to me, Congresswoman Priyanka Gandhi would undoubtedly defeat Prime Minister Narendra Modi if she campaigns against him from Varanasi, according to Sanjay Raut.

Harish Rawat, a Congress politician and former chief minister of Uttarakhand, claimed that Priyanka Gandhi has the ability to both win and lead the party to victory.

Many people want Priyanka Gandhi to serve in Parliament. However, she and the party's leadership must make the choice, according to Harish Rawat.

It was rumored that Priyanka Gandhi may run against Prime Minister Modi in Varanasi during the 2019 Lok Sabha election, but the party ultimately chose to select Ajay Rai.The party at the time claimed that Priyanka made the ultimate choice.


She definitely belongs in Lok Sabha. She is fully qualified for the position. She deserves to be in Parliament and would be a great addition. Robert Vadra remarked, "I hope the Congress party welcomes her and has better plans for her. Priyanka Gandhi 50% commission row in Madhya Pradesh, FIR


After the BJP in Madhya Pradesh filed a complaint against Priyanka Gandhi for circulating a "fake letter" accusing the BJP government of Madhya Pradesh of corruption, Priyanka Gandhi found herself in the middle of a controversy.Priyanka Gandhi shared a news article in which it was stated that, similar to Karnataka, the Madhya Pradesh government has evolved into a commission government, with a higher percentage.
 
"The people of Madhya Pradesh will remove the BJP government with a 50% commission, just as the people of Karnataka ousted the government with a 40% commission," Priyanka wrote in a tweet. The story was based on a widely circulated letter that the Madhya Pradesh Union of Contractors allegedly sent to the high court's chief justice, stating that they only got paid after paying a 50% commission.
