Russia-Ukraine war: At least seven people were killed while as many as 110 were injured after Russin forces launched fresh missile attacks on Ukraine, informed a local official.

Russia-Ukraine WarAccording to a local authority, when Russian forces began further missile attacks on Ukraine on Saturday, at least seven people were killed and up to 110 were injured. 

Seven people killed and 117 were injured as of 3:25 p.m. in the terrorist attack on Chernihiv's city center, according to acting mayor Oleksandr Lomako on Telegram.

Zelenskyy denounced the attack, which he claimed damaged a university and a theater among other structures."A Russian missile struck right in the middle of the city, in our Chernihiv," he declared.

"A square, the polytechnic university, and a theater," he continued. Russia transformed a typical Saturday into a day of suffering and sorrow. There are wounded as well as dead.

In the meantime, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made his first trip to Sweden following Russia's all-out invasion of Ukraine last year.

Zelenskyy will visit officials at Harpsund, the prime minister's official summer residence, located around 120 kilometers (75 miles) west of Stockholm, according to the Swedish government. At a nearby palace, he will also meet Sweden's Queen Silvia and King Carl XVI Gustaf.

According to the government, Sweden has given Ukraine military supplies worth 20 billion kronor (1.7 billion euros), including Archer artillery units, Leopard 2 tanks, CV-90 infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers, anti-tank weapons, mine-clearing tools, and ammunition. Sweden submitted an application for NATO membership as well, but the organization has not yet accepted it.
