Video: Sikh Man Thrashes Robber After He Attempts To Loot Store In US

An employee grabbed the robber by his arms after which the Sikh man thrashed the thief multiple times with a stick.

Many praised the bravery of the Sikh man

The spike in thefts and armed robberies at stores in the US is a major source of worry for store owners and retailers. On social media, a number of videos have surfaced showing how victims of these attacks include clients, employees, and store owners.

But this time, the tables flipped, and in a dramatic way.A Sikh guy, believed to be the store's owner, intervened when a robber broke into the 7-Eleven in California, beating the intruder black and blue, according to a New York Post article.

A masked man is seen trying to throw as many items as he can into a large trash can in a video of the incident that has gone popular on social media. The burglar also asked an employee to "back up" while threatening the shop owner a couple times with an unknown weapon.

Let him go, please. You are helpless in this situation. They won't do nothing, the onlooker who recorded the footage is heard stating.

The Sikh man beat the thief repeatedly with a broomstick when the employee grabbed the robber by the arms. The filmer said, "Don't do that," in an attempt to stop them. Man, don't do that. The thief yelled in agony, "Don't do that. The other employee had him pinned down, but the Sikh man was still beating him.

Many people complimented the Sikh man's bravery and said it was "satisfying" to watch the footage. Even if I oppose violence, one person stated, "This is the best video."

The words of another were, "This is what happens when authorities won't, or can't, enforce the law and some citizens decide they've had enough."

Never meddle with a Punjabi, a third wrote. Robber was apprehended. ''Not all heroes wear capes,'' a fourth remarked. Some people don turbans. One more said, "Guy is robbing the store in the US, as usual, the store guys are helpless, but then Indians arrive at the scene."
