Congress, Opposition blocking Manipur discussion in Parliament to ‘hide certain facts’, claims BJP

Union Minister Smriti Irani stated that Home Minister Amit Shah urged to all members of the opposition to start a discussion or debate on the issues affecting Manipur during her remarks to a press conference at the BJP headquarters here.
Shah would like to bring 'certain facts to light'
Irani reported that Shah frequently stated in Parliament that he wanted to "bring certain facts to light" as the minister in charge of home affairs.
The opposition parties' steadfast refusal to let the truth be known, she claimed, is disturbing.
She claimed that the Manipur problem is related to internal and national security.
Irani asked, "What are the facts of Manipur violence that the Congress wants to hide when the Home Minister is asking them to come and discuss?"
On Monday, Home Minister Amit Shah pleaded with the opposition to allow a debate on the Manipur issue to start in Parliament.
However, neither side would budge from their position, and Congress and its allies insisted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi make a statement on the House floor first.
