Delhi govt to pay ₹10,000 compensation to each flood-affected family, announces Kejriwal
Delhi chief minister also announced setting up camps for those who lost their important documents like Aadhaar card in the floods.

Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister of Delhi, said on Sunday that each flood-affected family would receive a 10,000Rupees.
"Several low-income families that lived close to the Yamuna River experienced severe losses.Some families lost all they owned, even their homes. Each family will receive compensation in the amount of 10,000 as part of our financial assistance. For people who lost crucial papers during the floods, including their Aadhaar card, we will set up special camps. The chief minister tweeted, "We will give school clothes and books to the pupils who lost them during the floods.
Kejriwal visited a relief camp at North Delhi's Mori Gate earlier in the day."We have established relief camps in schools for those who were affected by the floods in Delhi," the chief minister tweeted.I went to a relief camp at a Mori Gate school.There are provisions for food and restrooms for the camp's visitors.
Kejriwal stated that in order to hasten the drying process in flood-affected areas, efforts would be made to fill muck with dry soil.
The chief minister was quoted by PTI as stating, "The government is exploring various means to provide ad hoc relief to the flood-affected individuals, including compensation for their losses."
Kejriwal tweeted to announce the start of the Chandrawal Water Treatment Plant. In the assembly seats of Rajinder Nagar, Karol Bagh, Ballimaran, Chandni Chowk, Patel Nagar, Palam Vihar, Delhi Cantt, as well as in NDMC regions, water service will be restored to the tune of 105 MGD.
