After the BJP's parliamentarians meeting on Tuesday, MP Ravi Shankar Prasad criticized the 'directionless' opposition's I.N.D.I.A alliance. Prasad cited the joke made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi about the Congress being started by a foreigner.

Speaking outside the Parliament, Prasad projected that the BJP would get a third term in office in 2024."We are pleased with our PM. In 2024, we will retake control. The former union minister announced, "PM Modi has made a remark that Indian National Congress, the successor to the East India Company, had been founded by a foreign national.

Prasad repeated Modi's remark about organizations with "India" in their names; the prime minister's jab at the opposition mentioned terrorist groups like the Indian Mujahideen and Popular Front of India. Prasad was criticizing the I.N.D.I.A. coalition that was formed after 26 opposition parties, including the Congress, met in Bengaluru this month to develop a joint strategy to defeat the BJP.

"Today, terms like Indian Mujahideen and Indian People's Front are used. "East India Company, Indian Mujahideen, and Popular Front of India are also INDIA," the ex-union minister added, paraphrasing the prime minister, "but what appears to be true may not be what is actually true. The mere mention of India has no meaning.

The INDIA.Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance is referred to by an acronym.

The prime minister spoke earlier, immediately after the I.N.D.I.A grouping was announced; in response, the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) was reframed as alluding to a "New" India, a "Developed" India, and the "Aspirations" of its people by using an acronym of his own.

A frequent critic of the Congress, casteism, and regionalism, he also attacked I.N.D.I.A as a "negative" coalition created by the "corrupt" to advance dynastic politics.

Describe the encounter in detail Minister of Parliamentary Affairs Prahlad Joshi stated, "In the meeting, PM Modi said that the opposition's behavior indicates that they wish to remain in the opposition forever for the foreseeable future.

The fact that the world trusts us fills us with pride. He also predicted that by the end of our third term, we will have the third-largest economy.

By the year 2047, he claimed, India should be a developed nation.

In addition, when discussing the opposition's intentions to bring a vote of no confidence against the government, Joshi stated, "During our first term, the opposition also brought a motion of no confidence against us, and in 2019, our seats increased from 282 to 303.We will win more than 350 seats if they also introduce a motion of no confidence.

"Today, India's image before the world has improved significantly, and we are committed to keep working in this direction," Prime Minister Modi said at the BJP parliamentary meeting.

Manipur tension in Parliament

After protracted ethnic violence in Manipur grabbed international headlines, the opening three days of the monsoon session of Parliament were characterised by intense tension.

A horrifying web video depicting the sexual assault of two women exacerbated an already volatile situation by giving the opposition new tools with which to attack the BJP.

In order for the prime minister to address the Manipur issue in both houses, the opposition has repeatedly forced the adjournment of Parliament. They have also demanded the resignation of chief minister N Biren Singh.

Days after the unrest began, Modi did briefly mention Manipur; nevertheless, he was criticized for appearing to focus more on criticizing the Congress-led administrations in the states of Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh, which are up for election.

"The Manipur episode, which has gained attention, is disgraceful for any culture. The nation is ashamed.I implore all chief ministers to improve laws and implement strict punishment for crimes, particularly those committed against women.

The perpetrator shall not be allowed to escape justice in any part of the nation, whether the incident occurred in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, or Manipur, the PM declared.
