Logo of INDIA bloc likely to be unveiled on August 31: Congress' Ashok Chavan

Ashok Chavan also said that around 26-27 opposition parties are expected to to participate in the third joint meeting of the bloc in Mumbai on August 31.

Congressman Ashok Chavan predicted on Saturday that the newly established Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) would probably unveil its logo in August at its third joint conference, which will take place in Mumbai, according to news agency ANI.

At a press conference, Chavan stated, "Approximately 26 to 27 parties would attend the meeting.Mumbai will host a casual gathering on August 31st and a formal summit on September 1st.Two meetings have already been scheduled, thus the third will be used to discuss the next agenda. We've decided to create a unified logo, which might be unveiled on August 31.




A former chief minister of Maharashtra further stated that the third joint gathering of the bloc, scheduled on August 31 in Mumbai, is anticipated to draw between 26 and 27 opposition parties. 

The first meeting took place in Patna, Bihar, which is currently under the control of the INDIA front parties, while the second gathering took place in Bengaluru, Karnataka, where the Congress has lately retaken power.

Prior to this, party head PL Punia stated that the alliance's prime minister candidates would be announced following a resounding victory in the next Lok Sabha elections."The INDIA coalition has determined that the prime minister will be chosen once it takes office.The PM will be chosen by the elected MPs, according to Congress leaders.

In order to challenge the ruling BJP in the next LokSabha elections, 26 opposition parties last month created the coalition "INDIA" (Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance), with Congressman Rahul Gandhi declaring that the conflict will be "between INDIA and prime minister Narendra Modi."

A statement titled "Samuhik Sankalp" was also released by the newly formed alliance. It addresses a number of topics, including caste census results, violence in Manipur, the function of governors and local government officials, and demonetisation.

The 26 opposition parties are, the Congress, TMC, DMK, AAP, JD(U), RJD, JMM, NCP (Sharad Pawar), Shiv Sena (UBT), SP, NC, PDP, CPI(M), CPI, RLD, MDMK, Kongunadu Makkal Desia Katchi (KMDK), VCK, RSP, CPI-ML (Liberation), Forward Bloc, IUML, Kerala Congress (Joseph), Kerala Congress (Mani), Apna Dal (Kamerawadi), and the Manithaneya Makkal Katchi (MMK)
